Rails & Ales Festival Ticketholders,

The 2016 Rails & Ales Festival is almost here and we hope you’re as excited as we are!

We want to make sure you have all of the information you need to have a fun and safe celebration of craft beer with us! Be sure to read this email for important information on the festival, and please forward this email on if you purchased tickets for friends! See you on August 13th!

SCHEDULE: VIP tasting starts at noon. The gates open to General Admission ticket holders at 1 PM. The festival ends at 6. Beer service ends at 5 PM but we have an AWESOME band lined up to take the stage at 5 PM so the fun will continue!

TICKETS: YOU MUST HAVE YOUR TICKET TO ENTER. Print-at-home tickets must be legible for a bar scanner. Tickets may also be scanned from a smartphone device.

IDENTIFICATION: You must have a valid Federal or State issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) to enter the Festival.

MINORS: EVERYONE MUST BE 21 TO ENTER THE FESTIVAL AREA. All attendees will be checked and banded at the gate. Police will be on the premises and Festival goers will be subject to ID searches at any time. The Festival is for ADULTS, 21 and older. Strollers WILL NOT BE ALLOWED in the festival area. MINORS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED unless they are carried by a parent the entire duration of the Festival. Please plan accordingly.

FESTIVAL ENTRANCE: Enter the festival through the 12th Street entrance of Harris Riverfront Park. Entrance is beyond the flood wall.

PARKING: Parking WILL NOT be permitted in the park. Parking is available in the parking garage on 8th Street, the Pullman Square parking garages and metered parking is free on the weekends.

INCLIMATE WEATHER: We are hoping for blue skies but the forecast says there is a chance of rain on Saturday. The Rails & Ales Festival will be held rain or shine. We will not issue refunds for unused tickets or bad weather. We have a lot of tent space but be prepared to get wet in case of rain. Please bring ponchos instead of umbrellas. And keep in mind tents will be set up on asphalt and on grass.

BRING CASH: There is no ATM on premises. There is an ATM at Pullman Square. Get cash before you enter the festival!

DESIGNATE A DRIVER: Take advantage of the designated driver service provided free of charge by Dutch Miller. Or you can take a bus, taxi or Uber. See any festival volunteer or a representative of the Huntington Police Department if you need any assistance getting home.

STAY HYDRATED: FREE WATER for attendees will be provided by Soccer by Sniatecki. Visit the Hydration Station for your free water!

TAKE A BREAK: Remember to take a break from sampling and eat some of the delicious food available for purchase from some of the best restaurants around. And check out the many artisans that will be there selling their goods. And there’s no need to pre-game. There will be plenty of beer for sampling!

SMARTPHONE APP: Rails & Ales has an app! Download it to rank your favorite beers, locate the entertainment schedule, navigate the festival and more! We’ll be making changes often so be sure to check for any updates on Saturday morning and also close and reopen the app during the festival for the most accurate and up-to-date information!

NEED HELP? The HIMG Regional Medical Center will be on-hand at our Comfort Station offering basic medical assistance to anyone in need.
