Friday, February 9 | 6 - 10 pm

Join us for a celebration of winter weather and wild beers. Bundle up and enjoy WV's first boutique beer festival, where we’re serving up a top-notch selection of Sours and Wild Ales. Your ticket includes a commemorative tasting glass and samples of beer. We’ll also have live music and food vendors on site.

  • This festival is outdoors. It will be held on the second floor of the parking garage on the west side of Pullman Square (directly behind the Holiday Inn). The parking garage is covered and we will have several industrial heaters on site, but get out your ski gear and snuggies and dress for cold weather!
  • The Wild & Wonderful Winter Beer Fest is organized by the Better Beer Coalition (BBC), who also bring you the Rails & Ales Festival. Our mission is to promote a craft beer culture in WV and to improve access to craft beer by demonstrating the local demand to craft breweries and distributors.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of beers can I expect to sample?

We’ll be serving up sour beers, saisons, lambics, guezes and a variety of wild ales aged in everything from wine barrels to oak foudres, with a few non-sour options sprinkled in.

I bought a ticket but now I can’t go. Can I sell it to my friend?

Yes. It doesn’t matter whose name is on the ticket. As long as your friend is at least 21 years old and can show ID, they can use your ticket.

What is included with the price of the ticket?

In addition to having a kick-ass time, you’ll get a commemorative tasting cup and samples of sours and wild ales specially selected for this event.

Why is the event in a parking garage?

Think of it as a giant tent that requires no set-up!

Will you supply heat?

Yes, We will have a number of industrial-sized heaters on site but the parking garage is open on the sides so we expect it will still be somewhat chilly. We recommend wearing your funkiest ski suit, a snuggie or Chewbacca costume.

Will there be seating?

We recommend you bring your own chair if you want a seat. We’ll have a designated area for seating, near a heater and near the food vendors.

Will you have food vendors on site?

Yes, The Peddler, Christopher’s Eats and Bahnhof will be there selling food.

Will there be entertainment?

DJ Charlie Brown Superstar will be there spinning tunes.
